Mio came to America with nothing but a pair of scissors, a dream, and an unshakable determination to rise.
Originally from a small village in Vietnam, she arrived in Honolulu with limited English and no business background—only a passion for hairstyling and a heart full of ambition.
Starting from humble beginnings, Mio built her clientele one haircut at a time, turning every conversation into a meaningful connection and every service into lasting trust. Through years of sacrifice, perseverance, and hard work, she transformed a small side hustle into a full-service barbershop recognized for precision, culture, and genuine care.
Today, Mio’s Designs Barbershop stands as a symbol of dedication, resilience, and the American dream.
